Before joining Unity*Theater*Television*Film Co., Inc., DANIEL ROSENBLOOM
worked as a freelance Prop Master, Art Director & Production Designer for a
myriad of clients ranging from Cyclops Pictures and BSP Industries
to MTV and Video Artist Jim Anderson. In the past he has
worked on experimental performance projects with various New York City and
Chicago based artists and as an assistant to the set designer Kevin Roach
for numerous
alternative theater works, the best known of which was Blue Man Group-Tubes
which is still in production at the Astor Place Theater in New York City
where it originally opened in 1991. Mr. Rosenbloom has a wide variety
of experience in both film and digital animation and special effects. He has
worked as a digital animator on commercials for clients
including Warner Vision International, Minolta, and Webster
Bank. He has also
worked as a Director of Photography and Camera Operator for traditional
animation clients such as New York Newsday, The Cartoon Network
and
award-winning animators Bill Plympton and Tim Holmes.
He is currently
in development for Deadline a feature-length animated film, which will
include the work of some of New York's finest underground animators.
As an artist Mr. Rosenbloom has been a guest lecturer at the Art Institute
of Chicago and at the North Carolina School of the Arts. He is
represented
by Greg Breck in New York and by Beret International Gallery
in Chicago, where
he had his first solo show in the Fall of 1992.
